Buying a sweater should not cost you a stream of marketing mail for the next two years. We collect what an order needs and very little else, we have never sold customer data and will not, and the retention periods below are the real ones rather than an indefinite default.

2. How We Use It

We use your information to take and fulfill orders, to send order and dispatch confirmations, to answer messages, to process returns and refunds, to keep the site working and secure, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone for marketing purposes, and we do not build advertising profiles from your order history.

3. How We Share It

• PayPal, to authorize and settle payments.
• Carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx), which receive the name and address needed to deliver the parcel.
• Service providers that host the site, send transactional email, or support us operationally, under confidentiality terms and only for the task at hand.
• Authorities, where a valid legal requirement obliges us.
• A successor, if the business is ever sold or merged, with the same protections carried across.

5. How Long We Keep It

Order records are kept for 7 years, which is what tax and accounting rules require. Contact messages are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics.

6. Security

The site runs over SSL, access to order data is limited to the people who need it, and card details never touch our systems because the gateway handles them end to end. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, so we do not claim it is, but we do commit to telling you promptly if a breach ever affects your data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to certain processing, and to opt out of marketing. 8. Marketing Communications

Marketing email is opt-in. Order confirmations, dispatch notices, and replies to your own messages are not marketing and are sent regardless, because you need them. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
